United Palm Oil Industry Public Company Limited (UPOIC) has been member of Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) since 6 March 2008. The RSPO was formally established in April 2004 in Zurich, Switzerland. Its objective is to promote the growth and use of sustainable palm oil through cooperation within the supply chain and open dialogue with its stakeholders. The RSPO aims to bring together members of the community working on palm oil to discuss and to cooperate towards this common goal.
UPOIC has continually conducted its business in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. Moreover, the Company is committed to promoting the growth and use of sustainable palm oil in order to achieve the objective of RSPO.
